The bitter cold January temperature didn't stop this artist from completing her rendition of the Matterhorn in Zermatt as viewed from an outdoor balcony in town. This won Special Recognition in the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery "Open" Art competition held in August 2015.

I am in constant awe of nature, life and the different ways we live it around the world. I'm particularly drawn to architecture, sculpture, cloud formations, coastal scenes, birds and lately, Caribbean history. I typically paint from a photo I took, and occasionally I do plein air work in colored pencil. A physicist by training, I love patterns and geometry, so my abstract works and photos reflect that.
